Measuring Attitudes and Adoption of Digital Content for Kids and Teens

Data for Measuring Attitudes and Adoption of Digital Content for Kids and Teens was derived from a nationally representative panel of book consumers grouped into two categories: parents of children aged 0–13, and young adults aged 14–17.

The survey examines attitudes around book buying and reading, focusing on two main areas: reading habits, and attitudes and behaviour around the use of ebooks and apps.

The survey findings are available for sale as a PDF report, which includes a practical appendix, “Next Steps for Industry Professionals.”

For a sample of this report’s contents, you can view an excerpt in the embedded reader. We also have a number of posts about this research on our blog:  “Infographic: Kids and Teens E-reading Study,” “No Ads Allowed,” “Reading, Apps, and the Modern Kid,”  and “A Holiday Report from the Research Elves."
